Since its founding in 2017, Swoop Aero has worked with some of the largest organisations in global health across three continents, including UNICEF, the Gates Foundation, UK Aid, USAID, and Gavi the Vaccine Alliance. About the Opportunity
We are on the hunt for a dynamic, talented and innovative individual to join our Global Commercial team, based in our Melbourne HQ. You will be responsible for identifying strategic partnerships and programs that showcase the full potential of the Swoop Aero technology-based platform to help solve global challenges in the most impactful way possible. You will work with some of the largest organisations in the development and health sectors to showcase the pioneering and impactful work conducted by Swoop Aero across the world through the development and publication of campaigns, collateral and visual content.
Client relationships: Provide proactive and highly nuanced client liaison, key insights and recommendations, expectation management and account growth to support the exponential growth of the Swoop Aero technology-based platform in high impact and value areas, including low and middle resource settings
Project expertise: Contribute expertise in social impact measurement (or related fields, e.g. monitoring and evaluation) to social impact projects. You will lead the design and execution of impact evaluation and cost-effectiveness studies on network operations globally, including B-Corp reporting.
Business development: Support the development and sustaining of a strong sales pipeline and business development capability within the impact-driven networks. You will build and scale the global impact and sustainability strategy of Swoop Aero to drive awareness and affinity for the Swoop Aero brand, sourcing impact-driven and strategic partners across a range of industries, including health, disaster management and environmental conservation.
Social Impact Generation: You will lead the advancement of the humanitarian tender/grant pipeline as well as grow the fundraising effort of the organisation, including the establishment and growth of the Swoop Aero Foundation
Internal engagement: Build and lead a team of like-minded and talented Commercial team members, with a focus on empowering them to grow and develop their skills in the development and global health sectors.
Tertiary qualification in Business, International Development, Social Impact Measurement or related field, with a higher degree such as Masters or PhD highly desirable
At least 10 years of experience managing and scaling business operations globally. previous work in a globally recognised brand is highly desirable
5+ years’ working life experience at a senior management level
A demonstrated experience measuring and evaluating a project or program impact
Experience in social research skills and translation of research knowledge into practice
An exemplary record of strong working knowledge and understanding of key B2B and B2C sectors including, but not limited to, not-for-profit, health, social services, and government
A demonstrated record of planning, organising, prioritising, and executing simultaneous projects.
Ability to manage and build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated & Ability to work cross-functionally
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
