Kite™ truly is a marvel of aerospace engineering. Modelled after the mighty Hercules military transport aircraft, Kite™ is the most adaptable drone in the market, with the ability to perform a huge range of services and carry many different payloads.

Featuring a modular system, Kite™ also maintains FAA certification standards without forgoing the ability to easily conduct in-field maintenance. If you don’t mind us saying so, she’s mighty easy on the eye too.

A platform built from experience

Weather

The Kite can operate in heavy rain, 100% humidity, and within temperatures between - 10 and 55 c.

Redundancy

The Kite's digital parachute enables triple flight controller redundancy on every system.

Multirole

The Kite offers seamless multirole capability, switching between transport, live video, mapping, and SAR configurations.

Internal payload

The Kites have pass-through payload capability, with top and bottom payload access, enabling hand or automated dispatch, winch, and drop.

Modular

The Kite's modular design allows for easy in-field maintenance to be conducted while maintaining FAA certification standards.

Kite™ has a range of 175km, carrying a 3kg payload and a cruising speed of 122km/hr.

Secure internal payload storage with drop and human dispatch capability

Kite™ has full pass-through payload capability, with top and bottom access available for the full volume. This unique design enables hand or automated dispatch and drop. Kite™ has also been built for winch capability. Your payload is safe from the elements every time.

FAA certified modular system enhances safety and verticality of use case applications

Kite™ is self-monitoring

Kite™ is made up of intelligent hardware modules, each capable of integrity self monitoring and maintaining their IOT device status with the aircraft’s Digital Twin. This enables robust automation of the quality control processes during both final assembly and field maintenance, reducing training requirements and simplifying logistics while improving safety.

Seamless integration

Configuration, operations and airworthiness management

Each Kite™ component is monitored, its action is tracked, and its decisions recorded by high-quality data flowing from the asset ecosystem into the Digital Twin, which uses AI to keep you safe.

One to many Ground Control Station (GCS)

With nothing more than an iPad, a pilot can use our operationally-proven GCS to monitor multiple autonomous aircraft simultaneously, from anywhere in the world.

Simultaneous communication links

Our proven communications suite enables low latency connectivity anywhere in the world by leveraging mobile internet, satellite communications, and regional specific direct links.

This innovative approach to communications enables Swoop Aero to operate in some of the most austere geographical locations, from remote communities in DR Congo to the Highlands and Isles of Scotland.

Integrated flight route planning

Planning is made easy with our cloud-based software.
Our flight route planning software platform includes automated checks preventing any breach of aircraft, airspace, or ground risk limits so as to ensure the airspace and aviation ecosystem remains agile, robust, and resilient.

Once a route is planned, checked by Swoop Aero’s software, and approved, version control and updates are managed centrally and processed automatically. This means an aircraft can never fly a non-approved route, and secure deliveries are guaranteed for every flight.
