In our new team profile series, Humans of Swoop Aero, we’re introducing you to the incredible individuals who work to tackle seemingly insurmountable challenges, create nuanced strategy, and deploy our ground-breaking technology to positively impact millions of people’s lives every day. 

As the Head of Partnerships, Taylor is in charge of growing and cultivating Swoop Aero’s global impact through the development of commercial and strategic partnerships across multiple industry verticals.

Taylor came from a medical family, and he saw the impact his grandfather had while working in the far north in Canada as a doctor, where he frequently travelled with bush pilots to serve communities in remote locations.

“I grew up looking at pictures of what he did and feeling a sort of sense of pride about what he did. And I saw Swoop Aero as the sort of modern-day equivalent for me to have that same impact.”

Making a lasting impact is among the reasons why Taylor loves his role, which is why he loves meeting new people from all walks of life who are also passionate about having an impact on the world.

“When everything aligns, we both get to share in the magic of creating local impact in our regions of operation – whether that means improving health outcomes, making delivery of essential supplies faster or more efficient, or creating jobs within a remote community.”

Not only that, but Taylor also loves working with intelligent and passionate people in solving complex problems.

“I love how much passion everyone has in this business. It is infectious. Plus, there is something very motivating about working with emerging tech in developing countries to produce genuinely positive change.”
